Poker Strategy, Advice, Hints and Tips.

Here are some of my personal words of motivation and tips when playing poker which I hope will develop your game (please note that the statements given are to the best of my own knowledge by myself , unless stated otherwise).

I understand that some of you who will continue to read this, may think some of this is philosophical rubbish.  However this is how I view things and hope some of you understand and relate to it.

• People who say 'poker is just all about the hands that you are dealt'. This is a Big NO!  Remember when you are in a hand there are other factors that come into play.  e.g. The player/s (pro/amateur, player type), chips stacks, is it a cash game or tournament, is it for there tournament line, is it a TV table, etc the list goes on...................

IN SUMMARY: Remember its not just:  The cards VS cards

its: The player (you) holding the cards VS the other player/s holding the cards.

• I personal believe in having a positive attitude gets positive results in the end. When you enter in a Poker tournament treat it like a long journey (games can last for hours, some are days),  so ENJOY the ride/ experience.  Yes 'Bad Beats' do happen,  but its only a small hump in your journey.  Stick at it and drive on - you will get to the end of your journey.
